Belgian Peter Van Riet is probably best known as an internationally recognised designer, co-author of the book Create Meaningful Stuff and keynote speaker, besides being an innovator, entrepreneur and thinker-out-of-the-box,…

One key feature in his work has always been: The Process of Creation. Both in his keynotes and his book, he explains how design can be used to deal with change and to create meaning.

He wants to contribute to the important economic and societal transition, being the abundance of products and services, which unfortunately add very little value to our lives. Our current industrial model is not improving our happiness. Moreover, it is exhausting our planet. Luckily, there is a growing awareness amongst consumers and business leaders that the world needs smart, sustainable and meaningful products and services.

Radical design is not just about creating an object, but about truly diving into an experience. The process in itself is always an incredible journey.
